OBTAINING YOUR MASSACHUSETTS CRIMINAL RECORD
Many hardship license
applicants are unpleasantly
surprised when they are questioned
by the Board of Appeal regarding
their criminal record. If you you
appear before the Massachusetts Board of Appeal, the
Board will be able to obtain both your driving record & your
Massachusetts criminal record
without your knowledge or consent.
If you have a Massachusetts
criminal record and you are seeking
a Massachusetts Hardship License before the Board of Appeal, you
should obtain a copy of your
criminal record before your hearing.
Fax
your criminal and driving record to
us at (508) 302-0212 or
e-mail it to us for a free review.
You can obtain your
Massachusetts Criminal Record (CORI)
from the Massachusetts Criminal
History Systems Board (CHSB).
To obtain your Massachusetts
Criminal Record,
download a
CORI Request Form, complete it,
and sign it in front of a notary
public. Mail the completed form,
along with a check in the amount of
$25.00 and a self-addressed stamped
envelope to:
Criminal History Systems Board
Attn: CORI Unit
200 Arlington St., Suite 2200
Chelsea, MA 02150
You will receive a copy of your
Massachusetts Criminal Record by
mail. If you have any questions regarding how to obtain your
criminal record, or if you need help to obtain it, please contact one of our attorneys.
